Athens City Walking Tour & Acropolis Archaeological Site

Take the tour and come to “know thyself”, as Socrates, would prompt you to do. What would a visit to Athens be without going to the Acropolis? Visit the “Sacred Rock”, the Acropolis, which is home to four masterpieces of classical Greek art – Parthenon, Propylaea, Erechteion and the Temple of Athena Nike.

Just below the Acropolis at the foot of the rock lies the oldest and most picturesque location in Athens, Plaka. The tour will continue through its narrow streets. Walking around you will see the Ancient Agora site that was first developed in the 6th century BC and visit the Agora's museum housed in the Stoa of Attalos, the Lysicrates monument, the Hadrian’s Library as well as scroll through souvenir shops and picturesque restaurants and coffee places.
